Privacy Policy

CoinKong is built to work without an account. This page explains what the site keeps when you compare rates or start an order, what the exchange provider receives, and how to request deletion. The full policy text is displayed in the app; this is a readable summary for a page loaded without JavaScript.

What CoinKong keeps

Comparing rates does not require a name, an email address or a login. When you start an order, the record kept is the order itself: the pair, the amounts, the quoted rate, the provider, the public CK reference and the status transitions. An email is only used if you choose to receive order updates, and it is not required to complete a swap.

CoinKong does not hold your funds, does not store private keys or wallet seed phrases, and never asks for signing credentials. The destination address you enter is used for that order's payout.

What providers receive

The provider you select receives the information it needs to run the swap, such as the deposit details and the destination address for the payout. Fiat partners may ask for verification on their side. Their handling of that data is governed by their own privacy policy, because they are separate businesses from CoinKong.

Order lookups use the opaque CK reference rather than an internal row identifier, so a reference can be shared with support without exposing database internals.

Your choices

You can use the site without giving an email address, clear local preferences such as a watchlist in your browser, and contact support to ask for deletion of data associated with an order reference. Provider records are held by the provider, so a deletion request about their side has to go to them as well.

Retention and third parties

Order records are kept for operational and support purposes, so a completed swap can still be explained if a question arrives later. Analytics on the site are aggregate and are not used to build a CoinKong login or a profile of your wallet. Third party scripts that load on the page have their own policies, and the provider you choose for an order has its own retention rules for the data it receives.
